Ranch Horse Challenge

The Arabian Working Western Alliance
Ranch Horse Challenge

The purpose of the Arabian Working Western Alliance (AWWA) Ranch Horse Challenge is to create a sense
of community and comradery in the Arabian Horse industry by providing opportunities & incentives for the
breeding, showing, and owning of traditional Western performance Arabian-bred horses.

The AWWA Ranch Horse Challenge is held each October at the AHA Arabian & HA/AA U.S. National
Championship Show. There are two divisions: one for purebred Arabians and the other for
Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabians. These horses are of any age or bloodline. The AWWA Incentive Fund
4-year-olds compete concurrently in the Ranch Horse Challenge for awards and prize money set aside specifically for them.
Separate awards are given for the Top 10 high scoring amateurs entered in the Ranch Horse Challenge class.
